About

Dogwood Philanthropy Group® is a small fundraising and communications consulting firm based in Raleigh, N.C., that serves nonprofits of all kinds working in all fields of interest. Our expertise focuses on nonprofits and philanthropy, and we offer creative solutions tailored to each client’s particular needs.

We believe successful fundraising depends both on a well-defined strategy and on effective communication. We separate ourselves from other fundraising consultants through our emphasis on the fundamental role that communications plays in fundraising. We operate as boutique firm, which allows us to be hands-on with our clients and, at times, assume the role of both, the advisor and practitioner creating the largest impact.

To raise money, a nonprofit needs to be able to explain what it does, why it matters, and why donors should care and support it. The more effectively you communicate, the more likely you are to raise the funds you need. Our fundraising and communications solutions go hand-in-hand.

Our founder and CEO – with expertise from years in philanthropy, resource development, and marketing –  works directly with you to create fundraising strategies and communications solutions designed for you.

And we engage a skilled team of graphic-design and web-development professionals to deliver your story and your message to your donors.

We design fundraising and communications solutions to foster your connection with donors by clarifying both your story and their story, and by creating a fundraising plan to help you translate that connection into giving.

Our goal is to create an ongoing connection between your nonprofit and your constituents and in turn advance your mission through enhanced fundraising success. We help you drive performance and boost your fundraising results.
